Half cutters

Half cutters
Half cutters are additional units for manufacturers of rounded logs. They are pass-through type machines
used for the longitudinal cutting of rounded logs and posts. The half cutter features rotating feed rollers (or
belts) that feed the log to a cutter (disc), after which the two symmetrical halves are ejected from the machine
by pulling rollers. It can also be used for producing half-timber.
